3. Trade baby-sitting with friends and neighbors.
4.Trade services with friends and neighbors who can do things you can’t.
5. Don't buy house plants or plants for your garden - trade cuttings with friends and neighbors.
6. Invite friends over instead of going out.
7. Check your community calendar for free events.
8. Cancel your cell phone or replace it with a pre-paid plan and don't talk as much.
9. Go to the community events and classes at the library.
10. Invite your friends to free activities.
